Tiptop Audio has a new Z-DSP. The updated Z-DSP (2018) is a cartridge-based digital sound processing and effects generating platform for your modular synthesizer. The Z-DSP has a stereo processor with 24-bit sampling, 15kHz of bandwidth, voltage-controlled parameters and the ability to be programmed - all in Eurorack format.

All Z-DSP cartridges are interchangeable and feature a collection of boutique effects programmed by specialists like Valhalla DSP and many others. In addition to pre made cards the Z-DSP cartridges can be programmed using Tiptop’s NumberZ and a free software; users can design their own effects using assembly language specific to the FV-1 chip. Software and open source code expand the effects unit to include programs being traded in the modular community and in online forums.
