The design inspired by classic Cadillac road cruisers of the sixties offers a sought-after vintage vibe and convinces with TV Jones pickups with increased output, traditional Gretsch hardware and a tasteful closet Classic Black finish. The impressively curved body design of the Gretsch Custom Shop G6199 Billy-Bo Jupiter Thunderbird Black Closet Classic consists of solid mahogany wood and an additional maple cap at the end of the body to ensure the usual warm and full swing characteristics and classic rock 'n' Roll sounds. On the visual side, on the other hand, the all-round silver sparkle binding and a tasteful black Finish with a loving closet Classic treatment for slight signs of wear and tear on a lovingly cared-for original are a real eye-catcher.

To combine the traditional sound of the FilterTron construction with modern Output, two TV Jones PowerTron Plus humbuckers are used in the neck and bridge positions.
