Faber TP-59NG Gloss Nickel Vintage Spec Pure ALU is a replacement stop tailpiece, for Gibson guitars using standard stop tailpieces, made from aluminium. This tailpiece is an extremely lightweight, they transfer vibration much differently, resulting in a woodier, more vintage, tone.
Unplugged, the guitar seems almost more “acoustic” and resonant. Plugged in, the notes are warmer and rounder with more harmonics vs. heavier fundamentals with the zinc.
