On sale this no longer in production effect by Epigaze , which reminds me a little bit the octave-up pedal from Does It Doom . The setting that you can see in the picture is my favorite - the fuzz is almost removed but you can still hear on your strat this very wide upper octave , which sounds cool (sometimes even better) when is before other and stronger fuzz pedals , something like Big Muff (not Fuzz Face style fuzz). I also like when the "Preamp" knob - which adds a bit of bass - is rotated to maximum when rest is unchaged . The "Volt" knob looses a bit of volts when is rotated to the right and makes the settings more lo-fi'ish. When the "Level" goes too high it can be a bit hissy (but my guess is that other pieces don't work any better and it is "normal") .

This pedal has at least 9 years . Epigaze is probably out of the business. Mine works rather well . No screw is missing under velcro. Something for collectors of rare pedals .
