Original USA Steinberger GL7TA Elite TransTrem Guitar - Restored by Jeff Babicz

Here is an original USA-built Steinberger GL7TA Elite model guitar. A rare and amazing guitar in gorgeous condition. This guitar was just restored and set-up by Jeff Babicz, who was the former head of production at Steinberger Sound in Newburgh, N.Y. Jeff refretted the neck and mirror-polished the frets, and serviced the electronics. Jeff rebuilt the original TransTrem with new bearings and spring and also burnished the roller saddles, so that it now transposes correctly and returns to zero accurately.

This premium model features one piece neck-thru-body carbon-graphite construction and is impervious to changes in temperature and humidity.The 3 pushbutton pickup selector allows for any combination of the three EMG pickups to be activated. It also features EMG model 89 pickups with a factory mini-toggle, which converts them to a single-coil sound. In addition, the HAZ active EQ tone circuit allows for wider treble and bass control.These features give this model an extremely wide range of tones.

This Steinberger GL7TA Elite guitar will ship in a new HeadlessUSA black gig-bag with its Trans-Trem arm, a new black cotton strap, an extra set of strings, and a copy of Jeff's work-order.
