Original vintage Fujigen Greco EBG-850 bass in gorgeous playing condition! Greco’s top of the line bass, the EGB-850 was a rocker! Modeled with a Les paul custom esthetic, she features massive, high output humbuckers, gold everything, and EB-0 length 30.5” scale. I can not say enough about those magical pickups. -Hot without being farty, DEEP, yet detailed. Someone needs to figure out the secrete sauce and make a reissue.
These grecos run circles around anything Gibson USA was producing at the time, (or since, according to some extremely handsome and talented bassists), and actually prefigured Gibson’s own LPB series.
This old girl is no exception, and has accumulated all of the exterior finish and play wear one would expect of a genuine warhorse over the years, as the good ones do. Tons of mojo and patina, and lots of finish chipping, especially around the sides, and lower bout. All earned, all deserved, all dead sexy. No cracks, breaks, or repairs. She ships in a quality gig bag, not pictured. Enjoy!
