Emerson Bumblebee ® capacitors like this Custom Paper in Oil Tone Capacitor can be found inside the tone circuits of the most sought-after classic guitars ever made. This cap offers mil-spec construction, incorporating a hermetically sealed metal tubular casing with sealed glass ends. The capacitor is comparable to vintage Sprague Vitamin Q ® Capacitors. Emerson ® Custom capacitors are constructed from the finest materials. They are the only new mil spec capacitors being made in the US. The hermetically sealed metal tubular case with sealed glass ends uses true vintage kraft paper in oil construction to provide optimal tone.
Build is a 5% Tolerance Build.
Many Builds are 10% Tolerance and some are even 20% Tolerance.

CTS 500k Potentiometers and Emerson PIO Capacitors, as well as all materials used, Comes With Complete Test Reports and Specifications and Instructions.
The Capacitors are 0.015uF at the neck and .022uf at the bridge. These are the values made famous by Eric Clapton's Famous "Woman's Tone"
Testing
Harness is Tested Using Advanced Audio-Metric Software feed to an AC30 Vox HW Amp.
Many Harnesses are only Tested for Continuity.
Workmanship
All Soldering is done by a Computer Controlled State of the Art Solder Work Station.
Potentiometers are Shielded during Soldering by High Heat Shielding Polyimide Tapes.
