This 7x14 Ultra Rare Wood Series: Black and White Ebony stave snare’s shell is about 1/2" thick. I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has black nickel die-cast hoops and tension rods, black powdercoated low mass lugs from Champagne Drums, Puresound 20 strand snare wires, a DW black nickel throw off and butt plate, and Evans heads. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and, as far as I can tell, is the only fully black and white ebony wood stave snare drum available on the market.

The images shown here give you an idea of what this drum will look like, as this one resides with a client of ours. Turnaround time is usually 4-6 weeks.
