I am offering for sale 1 of my 2 M5N. Around 100 M5N (or slightly more - only Ken MacBeth himself knows) were ever made.
The M5N is the second and slightly enhanced version of the M5.
After owning a MacBeth M5 I ordered these with a painting job according to my wishes. As a huge fan of most iconic ARP synthesizers these M5Ns should be similar in look to an ARP Blue Marvin/Meanie. It finally looked absolutely stunning with a kind of white/turqouise color combo.
The custom M5Ns are happily sitting here in a warm and dry room for more than 10 years. They were lightly used and I am, of course, the first and only owner.
I helped John Riesenman a bit to make his highly recommended M5/M5N book as he himself owns a M5 but not a M5N.
I still have the original box that is essential for safe shipping. On top of that I would advise to use another even larger box for perfect double boxing.
These days shipping costs tcan be high depending on the carrier and destination as the M5N is huge not only in sound but in size. My shipping quotes for different destinations are just a "guess".
I probably need a few days for ordering a very large box, so do not expect "next day delivery".
P.S.: I never intended to sell one of my M5N "twins" though a recent offer here on reverb let me think more than once that someone else might appreciate this absolutely beautiful sounding analogue synthesizer as much as I do. And I think it is the best looking one ever made - though you can´t argue about taste, of course.
