The Blackbird is a tube preamp designed to add multiple channels to guitar amps or to be used as a professional quality direct recording tube preamplifier.
Each channel has its own dedicated Bass, Mid and Treble controls.
The Clean channel is reminiscent of vintage Fender Blackface amps with its beautiful and glassy tone.
The Drive channel is inspired by mythical Dumble amps and packs a huge degree of flexibility ranging from warm, bluesy tones, through to classic rock crunch and even harmonically-saturated metal sounds.
By simply digging in or easing off with the guitar pick, the tube circuitry responds musically and works with you to create soaring expressive solos or transition into rhythm playing.
