Stereo Pair Diyac RM5 Ribbon Mics (Royer 122 Clones)

you are looking at a STEREO PAIR of Diyac RM-5 Ribbon Microphones. These are GREAT Royer clones for an amazing price and I have 6 of them and SOLD my Royers once I got these. I am only selling two because I have 4 more and I need to save for a big purchase. They sound great on guitars, horns, piano, cymbals, snare, organ, etc.. The RM-5 is a purely hand-crafted ribbon microphone, featuring hand-made and individually tuned ribbon motor with a 2" long ribbon made of highest quality Japanese 2.5 micron thick aluminum foil and high-grade NdFeB magnets.

The microphone is intended to be an exclusive design, with each piece having its own feeling in character (while matched pairs are available by request for no additional cost), rather then an automated mass-production. We focus on direct sales from our web-site to avoid huge additional costs and to be sure, that each individual customer receives all the necessary attention.

RM-5 microphone features a toroidal output transformer, custom designed by Artur Fisher to provide the best matching with the particular motor. No stock transformers are used.

Bodies are individually machined by a local company from hand selected and well inspected stainless steel tubing of finest grades with attention to all the details and mechanically matt-polished for our signature appearance.

After final assembly each microphone is tested in both laboratory and studio environments to ensure the best sonic qualities. We pay most attention to aural performance rather then just plain electrical measurements.
