Trainer is Traynor™️ TS-15 (solid state amplifier) preamp section ini a pedal format. We used exact schematic of original amp that has a very cool distortion texture. The preamp runs at +-15V using standard 9V power supply (don't try to feed the pedal with a power supply higher than 9V this will damage electronics). the higher voltage gives you more dynamics and headroom available (~30V amplitude, for example Klon has ~27V). Preamp could be used in front of another amp or directly into power amp section (for example FX loop return input).
Controls:
- Gain - the level of drive.
- Bass - controls the bass frequency response.
- Treble - controls the treble frequency response.
- Master - effect output level.
- LED brightness trimmer - placed on the PCB trimmer allows you to adjust the status LED brightness.
Power Supply: 9V DC adapter (Boss-style negative center) not included. No batteries. They are bad for the environment 🌲.
Don't try to power the pedal with voltages higher than 9V - this will damage electronics. The pedal uses a chip to run the circuit on +-15V.
