*Rare* ELEX (Hohner) K3 Vintage Jazz/Rock Piano Organ - SOLD

ELEX K3 is a jazz/rock combo manufactured in Italy during 70s by Hohner International Belgium & UK, its name coming from ELettronica EXcelsior. It features a different and slick design compared to the model sold under the original brand (Hohner K3).

The polyphonic instrument includes four section that can be combined between them:
- bass
- organ (two tones)
- piano/harpsichord
- percussion (adds a snap to the sound, not to be confused with a percussion kit)

Within the bass section, choosing bass splits the keyboard in two parts (from the first F to the second C), so the left hand can play the rhythm while the right hand can play the melody or harmonic parts.

It has volume faders for bass, piano, organ and harpsichord and a general master volume.
As controls, it features tremolo & decay faders which seems to not produce audible results, so they might be not working properly. Apart from this it functions perfectly. It also comes with a Hohner K3 schematic manual I found and bought from US.

Being an electric piano/organ and not a synthesiser it doesn't feature programmable rhythms or any other controls for shaping the sound; what you see is what you get. 

It is a truly superb vintage piece of gear, so rare that I could find info about it only on Matrixsynth page.

It comes in a hard wood case, but the top is missing.
