I couldn’t find exotic woods large enough and thin enough to cut pickguards from. I don’t currently have the shop space to resaw and thickness sand larger pieces of exotic wood to turn into blanks I can cut pickguards from.
But . . .
I have a laser, and found high definition photo of swamp ash grain. I carefully converted it for laser and came up with a cool “swamp ash grain pattern” to engrave onto our custom cut Baltic birch pickguards.
Our “zebra wood grain” and “barnwood” have been hits previously.
Gonna look so cool on someone’s Stratocaster.
People will ask about it every time you open your guitar case.
This is a Laser cut, laser engraved 3 ply 1/8th inch Baltic Birch wood Pickguard. This has 11 Countersunk mounting holes. Sealed in coat after coat of satin lacquer. Includes one FTGP vinyl guitar case sticker.
