old and new Genuine Fender USA Precision Bass exactly. If you've got an
import Fender Precision Bass or a P-Bass shaped object made by another
manufacturer some modification to your instrument may be required, especially to the potentiometer mounting holes. See

many excellent Precision Bass wiring pictorials (USA Vintage Series
etc.). Please note that the threaded brass mounting bushing on the 450Gs measures .390". This is a bit longer than the bushing found on a stock P-Bass so if you want to mount these pots to a Fender style plastic pickguard or metal control plate you'll need to thread on one of the hex nuts until you get just the amount of thread you need showing above the top surface. The 'extra' bushing length may be just what you need if you're mounting the pots through a wooden body on a custom bass.
