The Johnny Christ signature bass is a modern bass player's dream cometrue. Built to Johnny's exacting specifications, his signature modelfeatures some classic Schecter components as well as some truly customadditions like EMG MMCS/81 active pickups, ebony fingerboard, GroverMINI tuners, 3-piece maple neck, ash body, gold hardware and Gold BoneCross inlays with the Avenged Sevenfold Skullbat logo at the 12th fret.

TheEMG active MMCS pickup is a dual-coil pickup with wide bobbins combinedwith a large coil surface area. This gives the MMCS a most amazing basstone. With a CS (ceramic and steel) design, the MMCS is a great mixtureof design, with ceramic magnets for a transparent high end with steeladded to increase the inductance for a powerful and warm low-end.Utilizing powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the 81'stone was designed with detailed intensity, incredible amounts of highend cut and fluid sustain.

The ebony fingerboard has a snappy,crisp attack with the density of Maple, but with more brittle grains,oilier pores, and a stronger fundamental tone than Maple. It has atremendous amount of percussive overtones in the pick attack, that muteout shortly thereafter to foster great, long, sustain. Add that to a3-piece maple neck for extra stability, you have a neck that willwithstand the test of time.
