The
Ovation Celebrity CC24 is more than just a pretty face. Beneath the
gorgeous burled maple top is the perfect combintation of old-world
guitar building and futuristic technology. The combination of the maple
top and mid-bowl composite back, the mids and highs sparkle while the
low end stays nice and smooth. The center soundhole gives great
projection and is the perfect compensation for the voicing of this
guitar.   The
slim neck of the CC24 has an electric-style profile, 20 nickel-silver
frets, and a nice low action that makes this guitar really fun to play.
Aftermarket Gotoh 510 tuners, a bone saddle and bone nut give the action
and playability a huge boost, and add some definition. A cutaway
insures easy access to the entire fretboard. With its 3-band equalizer
and onboard tuner, the instrument’s OP-4BT preamp provides players with
flexible tone control in any performance setting.   The
Mid-Depth bowl blends elements of Ovation’s Super-Shallow and Deep Bowl
designs. The Mid-Depth bowl design delivers a nice smooth, even tone.
And because it's a slimmer profile than many Ovation models, smaller
players really enjoy the comfort of a slightly smaller bowl. One of the
things Mid-Depth Ovation guitars are famous for is their ability to cut
through the mix, especially in a live scenario with a loud PA system.   The
OP-4BT preamp features 3-band EQ with +/-12 dB control over the bass,
midrange, and treble frequencies, and a handy battery status light. An
