1985 Tokai Limited Edition Superstrat, MIJ, Cream with matching neck and headstock, leather gigbag

Very cool 1985? Tokai Limited Edition Stratocaster in Cream with matching headstock and neck. 

This "super strat" is equipped with two single coils and a humbucker in the bridge position with a 5-way selector and lower bout jack placement. All electronics are believed to be original and function well. The tonal possibilities with this instrument are impressive. Very responsive pots. Distinct pickup voicings. Almost no hum even in 1 and 3 single coil positions. The option of playing a pretty hot humbucker and clear single coils on the same instrument make this a very versatile guitar. Additionally, the factory routing allows for triple humbuckers so a very good candidate for pickup swaps/ customization.

As this guitar was manufactured for the Japan market, it has the correct “lawsuit” headstock. Japan stamped tremolo block. Looks and plays great with low action and no fret buzz. Neck pocket is tight with  slight finish crack (see pics). Holds tune well. Some assorted body scuffs and nicks are what prevent me from listing this as "excellent". All documented in pics.

Ships with nice condition padded leather gig bag which is believed to be original.
