The AKG D202 was the first double system dynamic cardioid microphone produced by AKG in the 1970s used in recording and broadcast studios, film sound stages and sound-reinforcement applications throughout the world.

D 202CS/ES: max. 2.5 db. at 1 kHz max. +/- 1 db - Microphone Rating at 1000 Hz (sensitivity): 0.16 mV/u bar (-76 db)
- Impedance: at 125 Hz: 200 ohms +/- 20%
at 1000 Hz: 300 ohms +/- 20%
at 10000 Hz: 210 ohms +/- 20% - Min Actual Load impedance >500 ohms
- Directional Characteristic: Cardioid (independent of frequency response)
- Weighted Noise Level: 0.2u veff (Filter CCITT-C/DIN 45 405)
- unweighted Noise Level: 0.2u veff
- Max.Sound Pressure Level at a distortion of 0,5% at 1000 Hz: 500u bar (128 SPL)
- Highpass switch at 50Hz (-7dB and -20dB)
