Charvel 1988 3DR RARE Blue Crackle

I have my eyes on a new guitar, and this one is bait.  Don't miss out on this rare find. This is a 1980's Charvel model 3DR. Inside neck is stamped 3DR as well. I really love the way this guitar plays. Shreds great. Action is set low and the neck has no buzz on any frets. The Schaller made Floyd Rose performs flawlessly for a guitar this old. No problem staying in tune and the tremolo is smooth !
I did upgrade the pickups as the original were not very loud when I bought the guitar. Added a high output Dimarzio or Seymour in the bridge ( I can't recall, not taking it back apart now), and a DiMarzio HS-3 Single Coil Pick-up in the neck (I picked the blue cover, you could get black if you prefer).
The rare blue crackle finish on this is in great condition. The pictures don't show if off enough. I see a lot of rainbow, fire and yellow crackles, but not the blue often.

** The reverse headstock came shipped to me cracked, during transit. It was a clean break and I decided to keep it and repair it. It was such a clean break that you can hardly notice it in the picture of the headstock. It does not impact the playability in any way at all. **
