Beautiful set of Mongiello Cymbals with a definite Tony Williams vibe and extensive, deep hammering. The pitches are incredibly well-matched in terms of the intervals between them, making for a perfect blend.
Sonically, they sit between Turkish cymbals, in terms of the feel when playing them and how easily they open for crashes (especially the 22"!), and the Paiste Sound Creations, in terms of depth and complexity (check out the shanks on the 22" in the video!). If you've ever wanted an SCDR but felt they are too heavy and not crashable enough, this is your dream set!
