Eternal Research Demon Box EMF Synthesizer 2026

I recently bought this, and it's insanely cool, but I've gone in a different direction, and it should go to someone who will really use it. It's basically brand new, barely used, and comes with everything, including two metal balls that were extras for use as modulation.

The Demon Box is a desktop EMF instrument from Eternal Research that translates electromagnetic fields into audio, MIDI, and control voltage. Place any EMF-emitting object on or near its surface (phones, power tools, eBows, radios, microwaves, electric guitars, anything with a motor or magnetic field), and 33 inductors arranged in a triangular spiral convert those invisible signals into playable sound and data.

Three independent channels, each with its own inductor gain, external audio input gain, and mix balance control. Route each channel to its own 1/4" balanced mono output, or use the summed triphonic output. Three CV outputs at +/-5V for patching into Eurorack or other CV-capable gear.

MIDI note and CC data out via both 5-pin DIN and USB-C, with three note channels and three CC channels, each with different interpolation levels (chaotic, medium, smooth). USB-C handles power, MIDI, and firmware updates.

All-analog signal path. Folded aluminum triangular enclosure. Functions as an instrument, a controller, and a spatialized listening device. Works with DAWs, modular rigs, hardware synths, visual programming software, and DMX lighting.
