Yamaha SLB300 Silent Double Bass w/stand and BEF-2 extension frame

Yamaha SLB 300 EUB. Here's the description from the Sweetwater site: "The Yamaha Silent Bass defined the modern electric upright bass. But Yamaha hasn’t been resting on their laurels (nor do they ever). The next-generation SLB300 Silent Bass ups the ante with ever-better authentic acoustic upright sound and playing feel in a semi-solidbody instrument that folds up compactly for travel with an elegant antique-style finish that looks right at home on concert stages, in the studio — and in your living room. Best of all, the SLB300 Silent Bass plays exactly like a double bass, requiring no change at all from your standard acoustic bass technique. Whether you’re an upright bassist seeking an instrument that’s travel-friendly or an electric player looking for an authentic upright playing experience, you owe it to yourself to check out the amazing Yamaha SLB300 Silent Bass."

This is the base model of the 300. Spruce/Mahogany body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. 41" scale length. Piezo pickup and 3 different microphone settings, with a blend control. This bass is in excellent condition with the exception of some rashing to the body that I did my best to show in the photos. Plays like a dream. Can be broken down and carried in the included soft case that is not much larger than a standard electric bass case.

Also included is the K&M stand shown in the photos, which is the absolute best stand for this bass. Currently strung with Spirocore Weichs, but I can re-string with the original Helicore strings if desired.

Local pickup only, but I will travel up to 100 miles from my location in Burtonsville, MD to meet up. Shipping could be arranged, but only if buyer makes all shipping and packing arrangements, and I can just drop it off at the shipper.
