Gibson Custom Shop True Historic 1960 Les Paul R0 2015 – COA & Hard Case

For sale is my 2015 Gibson Custom Shop True Historic 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue (R0), serial number 0 5225, from my private collection.

I purchased this guitar brand new from a music store in Berlin, and I am its first owner. I have not made any modifications or replaced any parts since purchasing it — it remains in the same configuration as when I bought it.

The beautifully figured flame maple top makes this a striking instrument, but for me, its greatest quality is its tone. It has an organic, immediate and characterful voice, with a fast response to picking dynamics. Dig in, and it can sound bold, raw and even aggressive — in the best possible musical sense. It is the kind of guitar whose character you can genuinely feel under your fingers.

I have played it extensively at home, in the studio and on stage. This is not being offered as an unused collector’s piece. It shows honest signs of use, although I consider its overall condition to be very good. The photographs show the actual guitar and its current cosmetic condition, so please take a close look through the full gallery.

Please also note that the guitar already had intentional finish ageing when I purchased it new. Its present appearance therefore reflects both the aged character it had from the beginning and the genuine wear from my own use. Not every visible sign of ageing should be interpreted as wear caused by playing.

The sale includes the brown Gibson Custom hardshell case with pink lining, the matching Gibson Custom Certificate of Authenticity, and the paperwork and accessories shown in the photographs, including the currently unfitted pickguard and its mounting bracket.
