Yamaha Wes Borland. Here is a very unique instrument. The brainchild of Yamaha and Wes Borland, this instrument combines a lot of very interesting features into one great guitar. The semi hollow body is made out of one piece of carved out alder, the top and the neck are made out of maple. The fretboard is made out of Rosewood and has a 14 inch radius for easy bending and jumbo frets for a great feel. It features a very unique locking tremolo system which does not require the use of an Allen wrench to change strings. The system delivers faster string changes with the tuning stability of the locking design. The pick ups are Yamaha's own design of a fender wide field model.
The guitar is in fantastic condition. It is all original except for the bottom volume knob that has been changed to a tone for greater tonal variety. If the new owner wishes to change this back it's a simple procedure but I think this modification makes the guitar a lot more usable. It has not been played very much at all and it comes with the tools/candy you see in the last picture and roadrunner gigbag. It's a really versatile instrument capable of everything from jazz to heavy-metal.
