This is an excellent playing and sounding 1967 Gibson Melody Maker in Fire Engine Red. The neck is very comfortable and the Melody Maker single coil pickups have a wonderful clarity and bite with great dynamics when you dig in or lay back. These pickups are underrated in my opinion. The guitar is very light. The Vibrola is smooth and returns to pitch well. With the exception of some replaced pickguard and rear cavity screws, the guitar is original with no breaks. Overall, it is very clean with only a few very minor marks on the body. It includes a non original hard case.
