About this listing
The Suhr Classic S Antique Roasted Neoteric Limited Edition in Shell Pink is a beautifully refined S-style instrument that brings together vintage-inspired character, modern performance, and Suhr's meticulous attention to detail. Its Classic S Antique body is crafted from two-piece roasted alder and finished in Shell Pink lacquer with light aging, creating an elegant, naturally seasoned appearance. A parchment Classic pickguard provides a warm visual contrast, while the roasted alder construction delivers a resonant foundation with an articulate and responsive feel.
The roasted maple neck and roasted maple fingerboard feature an Even C Slim profile measuring .800" to .880", offering a comfortable and effortless playing experience. The 10"-14" compound radius with Standard Roll provides a smooth transition across the fingerboard, ideal for both expressive chord work and fluid lead playing. Twenty-two heavy stainless steel frets provide lasting durability and a smooth playing surface, complemented by a 1.650" black Tusq nut for precise string spacing. Satin finishes on the neck and headstock allow the natural character of the roasted maple to remain prominent, accented by a classic black decal logo.
The pickup configuration pairs an SSH Parchment bridge pickup with V63 Plus Parchment pickups in the middle and neck positions, offering a versatile spectrum of clear, dynamic, and expressive tones. From the focused response of the bridge position to the articulate character of the V63 Plus single coils, the instrument is designed to respond naturally to changes in touch and playing dynamics. SSCII is equipped for effective hum reduction while preserving the character of the single-coil voices. Suhr locking tuners in chrome provide reliable tuning stability, while the recessed Suhr 2-Post bridge features solid saddles and a steel block for precise response, sustain, and dependable performance.
Weighing 7 lbs 13 oz, the Classic S Antique Roasted Neoteric Limited Edition offers a balanced and substantial feel without sacrificing comfort. Its lightly aged Shell Pink lacquer, parchment appointments, roasted woods, stainless steel frets, locking hardware, and carefully selected pickup combination create an instrument with an unmistakable vintage spirit and thoroughly modern refinement. Complete with a softshell case, this limited edition Suhr is an elegant, versatile guitar designed to inspire with its feel, character, and wide-ranging tonal palette.
