Fender Telecaster 1973 - 3-tone sunburst finish

1973 Telecaster in absolutely all original condition, one owner only!

This was bought in 1974 in Italy. After many years not plaing it and playing mostly acoustics, it's time to let it go.

Comes with its original hardshell case and bridge "ash" tray.
Ash body, rosewood fretboard, maple neck.
Neck screw holes are still tight and never repaired.
Original frets, never been re-fretted and they still have some life left.
Check the fretboard thickness. It has never been sanded down due to re-fretting like other guitars of the same age.
Truss rod works perfectly.

All electronics are original and has the plastic/teflon axis potentiometers.
Soldering work is also original and intact.
Pickups measure: bridge 6.11K - neck 6.67KTuners are in perfect condition, no oxidation at all.

As you can see in the last photo, the bridge screws are in perfect condition.
Their heads are just slightly "eroded" and with a couple of dings, but the threaded part is still shiny and screws down perfectly.
A sign that the first time someone took it apart, was probably when I had to take the photos.
Overall, this is an absolutely all original guitar and one of the cleanest Telecaster examples you will ever see.

Headstock is clean as new and the nitrocellulose overlay has not turned yellow yet, but has just crackled a bit. That means the guitar has been taken care of.
Body has some fading as you can see in the pics. Specifically, in the area where the right arm rests on the guitar, on the back where your belly touches the guitar's body and on the ower side, where it sits on your leg. But has no hit marks or cracks.
