This Gibson Explorer was made in the USA in 1976. This was the first year Gibson made these after the original run in 1958-1959 and this example has a rare factory black finish. It has a small headstock crack that is repaired and stable. The pickup are Duncan antiquities, and the tuners and bridge are changed. All other parts are original. This is a great playing explorer. It weighs 8 pounds 13 ounces. The guitar has been pro-setup in our store and comes with the original case.
