Jackson X Series RR-B IV Limited Edition Bass - Black with White Bevels

This bass was sent directly from Jackson to my supplier, it has never been sold retail, the protective covers are still on the truss rod cover, back plates and backs of the tuners, and the factory inspection tag is still hanging on the tuners.  It was inspected by a team of technicians.  All electronics are working as designed, the neck is straight and the set up is to factory specs.   When we polished the bass we a few very light scratches on the edge, most likely caused by shifting during shipping.  They are too light to show in a picture, you can only see them if you are holding the bass with the light shining at an angle.
Per agreement with Jackson, because this bass was not distributed through their dealer network there is a tiny used stamp on the back of the headstock and the last two digits of the stamped serial number have been removed and a sticker with the serial number has been placed over the stamped number.

Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher?  The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, or need a minor repair.

Who refurbishes your instruments?  All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized luthier.

Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty?  No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty. 

Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it?  All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box.  However some instruments may need a minor adjustmentafter shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and  getting bumped around during shipping.  Also some players like to set up a new guitar to their own personal preferences.
