This is a 1980s Maxon noise gate!
This noise gate was released in the same series as the popular TS9 Maxon versions such as the OD-9, CS-9, and CP-9. It effectively suppresses guitar noise. It features two LEDs; the second LED lights up when input is received and turns off when the gate engages. This model is rarely seen in Japan, so it might be a good choice for collectors of the "9" series.
