A pair of vintage Ricky-style strap buttons taken off an Arbiter branded and Matsumoku built 4001 bass dating from around 1976-78, in very good used condition.
Length is 20mm, inner button diameter 7.8mm, outer button diameter 11.9mm, thread diameter 3.75mm which is a little less than a typical M4 thread, but an M4 nut spins on quite nicely (see final image).
The thread as per vintage Rics is a machine screw rather than a wood screw so your pilot hole will need to have the right tolerance.
