This is a 1978 Epiphone Riviera, manufactured in Japan by Matsumoku – one of the most respected makers of Japanese-era Epiphones. The blue label inside confirms its Matsumoku origin, and the guitar carries that characteristic build quality the factory was known for: solid construction, a well-balanced semi-hollow body, and hardware that has held up across nearly five decades.

Condition

Overall condition is good for its age, with honest wear consistent with a vintage instrument. Some white haze (clouding) is present in the finish in several areas – please refer to the photos for exact locations. Additional surface marks and scuffs are visible in the images.
