Gibson ES-340TD 1969 Walnut
Gibson ES-340TD – 1969 – Original T-Top Pickups
Incredible condition, both cosmetically and in terms of playability. It looks almost like a shop guitar. No structural or electronic issues whatsoever.
Built in 1969, featuring its original T-Top pickups. I've uploaded a video so you can hear how it sounds:
This guitar has undergone a common and highly desirable modification for this model: the wiring has been converted to ES-335 specifications. As you may know, the main differences between an ES-340 and an ES-335 are the maple neck and the original ES-340 wiring, which never really caught on with most players.
The conversion was professionally carried out by a luthier. The original pots and the Tune-o-matic documentation are included with the sale.
No noise, no neck issues, no repairs, no setup problems—everything works exactly as it should. In practice, this is very close to a 1969 ES-335, but at a much more accessible price.
Original hard case included.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you'd like to try the guitar in Madrid or Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain.
No trades, please. If I receive a large number of trade offers, I may not be able to reply to all of them.
