This custom D2A Sunburst from Collings is a guitar with an identity crisis- A 2-style build but with 1-style specs including a great set of upgraded Flamed Mahogany with lighter stain instead of the standard Indian Rosewood and black/ white top purfling instead of the herringbone. Paired with a torrefied (baked) Adirondack Spruce top with a custom lighter ambertone sunburst and wrapped in the 2-style Ivoroid body bindings with square and diamond fretboard inlays, Exotic Ebony overlay, zig zag backstrip and custom Gold Waverly tuners.

Other features include Ebony fretboard and bridge, tortoise pickguard, Ivoroid heelcap and wedge, Ebony pins with pearl dots, zig zag backstrip, Bone nut and saddle, Gold Waverly tuners, 1 11/16″ nut width, 2 3/16″ saddle spacing and 25 1/2″ scale length
