This is an 80s Tokai Explorer EXD-70.

According to the catalog specifications, the neck is maple on rosewood (round-laminated), and the body is either sen or alder.

The color is a rare blue-green.

The bridge looks unusual, but it's just a regular synchronized tremolo with a string locking function, so it can be used normally even without locking. If you frequently use the tremolo arm, locking the strings will help keep the tuning stable.

The pickups are original covered type and passive. They produced a fairly high-gain, crisp sound.

For this listing, I cleaned the fretboard with orange oil and replaced the strings with new ones. The string locks are not engaged.

Sound has been tested. As it is a used item, there are some scuffs, small scratches, and tarnishing on the metal parts. There was a slight buzzing at the 14th fret of the 1st string.

There is no damage to the corners, which is common with uniquely shaped guitars, and considering its age, I think it is in good condition.

Worldwide shipping from Tokyo. For goods with hard cases we usually pack hard case and contents by cushioning material (usually bubble wrap). There has never been a problem with that shipping method so far. However, if you want a hard case to be included in cardboard, I can ship by that method if you pay additional $10. This applies only to products that originally have hard case.

Items are generally shipped on Mondays and Fridays. For safety reasons, items that can be removed from the body and neck will be shipped with the body and neck removed.

We usually ship with a tracking number.
