This is a Yamaha SGV800. While it's a lesser-known guitar, it's a modern reissue of the SG-5, a model released by Yamaha during the heyday of surf/group sounds in the 1960s.

It appears to have been sold between 2000 and 2004.

It seems to have been used infrequently, as the protective film on the pickguard and back panel is still intact.

The frets are almost completely worn.

The guitar has a general discoloration from sun exposure, changing from its original pearl white to a cream color.

The metal parts show some tarnishing.

The neck is maple on rosewood, and the body is alder. The scale length is 628mm and the nut width is 40mm.

Controls are 2 volume and 1 tone.

Sperzel tuners are used.

There is a scratch on the 6th string tuner post (but it doesn't affect functionality).

Overall, I believe it's in good condition.

For this listing, I cleaned the fretboard with orange oil and replaced the strings with new ones.
