DF Audio Minibay S24 24-Point TRS Patchbay

The MINIBAY S24 is a 24-point TRS patch bay that balances simplicity and ease of use with a compact, desktop-friendly form-factor.

It has twenty four 1/4" TRS sockets on the back and corresponding 1/8" TRS sockets on the top panel.

The S24 supports balanced signals, as well as unbalanced mono and stereo signals, all of which can be routed using the included eighth inch TRS patch cables.

Each A/B pair has a dedicated switch to engage a half-normalled connection when required.

CONNECTIVITY

The MINIBAY S24 has one-to-one correspondence between the 1/4" TRS sockets on the back panel and the 1/8" TRS patching sockets on the top panel.

All connections support balanced signals, as well as unbalanced mono and stereo signals.

The included 1/8" TRS patch cables make routing stereo signals easy, as only one cable is needed for both left and right channels.

Additionally, one TS to TRS patch cable is included for routing mono signals to stereo channels (they can also be bought separately if you need more).

NORMALLING

Each A/B pair on the MINIBAY S24 has a switch to toggle between the patched connection and a half-normalled connection.

When half-normalling is engaged, a hidden connection is made between the upper and lower sockets in a pair, which overrides the patched connection to the lower socket.

The upper socket maintains both the patched connection and the normalled connection. This effectively allows you to split the signal and take it to two separate inputs (e.g. a mixer and an audio interface).

IMPORTANT: When using half-normalled connections, the outputs should be on the top row and inputs on the bottom row.
