1960 RCA 5Y3GT Rectifier Tube, Tested, NOS

This tube has smooth black plates and a D-getter. The date code indicates it was made in 1960.

This was tested on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/B. It has been tested for shorts and gas. The tube tests with readings of 58/56. Minimum is 40 per section.

They have been sonically tested in my homebuilt pre-amp and are dead quiet with no microphonics.

Tubes are described, tested, and presented to the best of my ability, subject to the limitations of the equipment that I have available (Hickok 539C and several TV-7’s). Test results are likely to vary some between your equipment and mine due to the imprecise nature of 60-year-old consumer-grade test equipment.
