Transparent but not too transparent, Mountain Drive lends tons of character and grit to those big, heavy solid state and tube amps that are too cheap to not buy but too loud to ever turn up to where they sound their best. From clean boost to piercing Tone Bender, to AC30-ish edge of breakup there are a near unlimited range of tones to be found in this blue sparkle box.

Mountain Drive features a unique tone control that is a standard low pass filter the first 2/3 rotation, while, the last 1/3 or rotation actives a bypass cap that adds a quasi gain-stage whilst simultaneously cutting bass to give a quasi-treble booster tonal quality.
