Vintage Teisco Checkmate 25 solid-state amplifier head in excellent working condition, recently serviced and sounding great.
This is a classic late 60s / early 70s Japanese amp known for its unique garage / surf / indie tone and vintage character.
Both reverb and tremolo are fully functional and sound strong. Tremolo has a deep, pulsing effect, and the reverb adds a nice spacious texture.
The amp has been professionally tested and serviced with some capacitor replacement, improving reliability while keeping the original circuit intact. Internally it remains largely original with no major modifications or hack repairs. (See photo)
Cosmetically, this is a very clean example for its age. Faceplate is in great shape, all knobs are present. super clean vintage vibes

Controls are smooth and clean. Unit operates as expected.
