First appearing in the Vox catalog in 1965, the VOX V234 Hurricane is a nod to the British fighter planes of World War II and borrows the spirit of Fender design for its body and neck.
The V234 features two pickups and a tremolo, a reinforced neck with a truss rod, and a 25" scale length.
The 1966 US Vox catalog describes it as follows: "Contoured body; quick flick 3-position switch; true spring action vibrato; individual string bridges; sunburst and popular colors."
It's a very enjoyable guitar to play with a sound that can be quite clear and sharp, ideal for surf, old-school rock, psychedelic, and other musical adventures.
It has aged beautifully, in superb condition, with typical Vox hardware and pickups, and will bring a truly distinctive sound to your projects.
Pro guitar set up in the workshop as usual 😉.
