For sale is a terrific Marshall 1935 4x12 cab - original box dating from the late ’70s or early ’80s, recovered in custom dark green embossed crocodile tolex.

Speakers:

2 × Rola Celestion G12-80 (1980s, smooth cone 3609 version – tighter lows, sharper attack, slightly softened top end)

2 × UK Celestion G12M-70 (1980s – smoother and more balanced response)

I came up with this speaker combination after many tests in attempt to do something different, one of a kind, but still suitable for my JCM 800 head. While both types of speakers were used in cabinets sold with the Marshall JCM800 series, the two models are quite different. Together, they balance each other perfectly – the G12-80s provide punch and definition, while the G12M-70s keep things smooth.

Sound:

Works beautifully for clean, crunch, and high gain tones. It's seriously good in all these areas.

Condition:

Cabinet is solid and in excellent shape.

Reinforced handle mounts.

Casters roll perfectly.
