Organic Sounds "Kerberos" is a fuzz/booster pedal that pursues a "real vintage sound"!
The miniature body features a magenta-inspired color scheme and a print of Cerberus, the monster of the underworld from Greek mythology. While it's labeled a "booster," this pedal feels more like a fuzz. The knob is a three-position rotary switch, offering a simple three-tone selection. The tone isn't loose and bouncy, but rather crunchy, with each step adding volume, gain, and a "thick, wild" feel. It responds well to volume, staying true to its originality even when turned down. I think this pedal offers a wide range of expression when used in conjunction with a handheld volume control. While the concept and design are undoubtedly new, the warmth hidden within its ferocity somehow evokes a vintage vibe. This pedal also has a distinctive Organic Sounds sound. Serial number #108.
