Ah...this listing is a good example of why you should buy gear from me.

I bought this wah-wah new in 1970, so I know its complete history. I have had to replace the pot a few times because it got scratchy--as you may know, this tends to happen with pots unless you use them constantly. I believe the pot in there now is a Dunlop HotPotz that was installed in 1991 and is hyped as having "One Million Cycles" Life and being "Sealed for dust-free operation." It has lasted longer than the 2 years that previous replacements lasted. I've never heard a difference in sound quality from replacing the pot unless it wasn't positioned correctly for the right sweep. There have been no other repairs to the pedal. If you compare the condition of this pedal to others listed as "Excellent" condition, you'll see that mine is in better condition.

This pedal has THE sound. The ones after 1970 were different. Many consider these early V846s the best-sounding wahs ever made, and I wouldn't argue with them. I've posted a video of my playing the "White Room" solo with it and my Les Paul/SG. [Note: my foot and shoe are not included with the sale of the wah-wah. ;>) ]

And have you ever seen anyone selling one of these with not only the original bag, but also the original box? You better jump on this before some other pedal collector does! But since it has a non-original 100K pot, I hope it will be bought by someone who will actually make music with it. It sounds too good to be put in a museum or display case.
