There are few players as imposing as John Petrucci. As lead songwriter and guitarist of progressive metal giants Dream Theater, he is known for his complex composition and virtuoso lead playing. The JP70 is modelled after Petrucci's very first signature Music Man guitar, the JP7, and features those same iconic elements like the 1st fret shield inlay and contoured forearm scoop.
This Sterling model features a resonant Nyatoh body finished in a sleek Mystic Dream. It is brilliantly weighted and has incredible sustain and power.
The Hard Maple neck is supremely comfortable and feels great underhand, it boasts a Rosewood board, 24 medium jumbo frets, 25.5" scale, a 49.5mm nut width, and a 16" radius. Whether you're playing heavy riffs or slick lead lines you're sure to feel at home.
Powerful tones come courtesy of custom voiced proprietary pickups designed by the guys at Music Man. Inspired by Petrucci's masterful tone, this guitar features two Sterling by Music Man humbucking pickups.
Finished off with locking tuners and a modern tremolo system, this guitar offers incredible value for money.
