Star Instruments Synare 3 Analog Percussion Synthesizer

This Synare is fully functional and is in good condition, despite missing the drum pad.  It has been professionally modified in-house to include audio/trigger in. 

The Synare 3 was the most ubiquitous percussion synthesizer sound until Simmons began to dominate the market in the early 1980's. Used mainly for the disco laser tom sound and brash snare crash, the Synare 3 is capable of so much more. It has two oscillators (one can be switched to white noise and one to LFO), a nice low-pass filter, cross modulation and FM, and two envelopes.  This is the later X model which offers a few preset sounds and an external 9V negative tip PSU jack.
