Short Description:
A Stellar Late '60s Epiphone Sorrento with Mini-Humbucker and Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard!
What We Think:
Condition: Used, Very Good. This instrument was made in 1968.
SP Luthier Notes: The guitar required a full adjustment to the truss rod, nut, and bridge to be brought to a perfect level of playability. The frets were leveled, recrowned, and polished to a near mint state.
A Royal Olive Burst Semi-Hollow with just one neck pickup and a couple of knobs, from the late 1960s no less. What else could you need? This guitar is a charming piece, and sounds absolutely incredible plugged in to anything we here and SoundPure could toss at it. Slide guitar work sounds incredible, as do jazzy sounds and face-ripping leads through a fuzz box. Thanks to the simple controls, there is nothing getting in your way of having a blast. Thanks to our luthier's handiwork this guitar plays super well, and is a real delight to have in the hands.
