A Les Paul type that will make Les Paul lovers roar!
The concept of this model is to “perfectly copy the old” Les Paul by Gibson by utilizing their excellent woodworking techniques, the boring process, the beautiful curves of the body and head, etc., and the shape of the body and head. The model also reproduces the pegs, bridge, fret edges, and even a single screw. DiMarzio “PAF” pickups are installed. Tokai has completed the ultimate old copy that is not only a replica, but also a highly finished product that surpasses the original, and is truly a “Japan Vintage Guitar” that continues to attract many fans.
This 1981 LS120 Love Rock is quite heavy, weighing 4.91kg. The tight and strong core sound is only possible with a guitar as masculine as this. Naturally, it has a pleasant sound when distorted, but even when clean, it produces a well-balanced sound from sparkling high notes to tight, heavy bass notes. The C-shape neck is thin but has a slightly firm edge, and the taper is not too strong, making it easy to play.
For those of us who have experienced the hard rock of the 1980s, this is a Les Paul type that can be directly connected to a Marshall and distorted for hours of “ahhh, it feels so good” playing.
