The Muse Kinetics SoftStep 3 streamlines your MIDI cues, providing notes, CCs, and messages an easier path forward to their destinations. The Softstep has a bank of eight pads in line, offering 3D expression control for your effects with raised back row pads for easy access. The SoftStep 3 also provides greater connectivity than ever before with a TRS MIDI Out, a pair of CV Outs, and MIDI over USB-C optioning.
- Versatile – program each pad to send MIDI Notes, CC#s, and Program Change messages using the SoftStep Editor software.
- Expressive – Sensors under each pad detect pressure in 3D. Map the X- Y- and Z-axis to CCs for dynamic expression of effects parameters.
- TRS MIDI – Connect to 5 pin MIDI hardware and synths with TRS MIDI (type A).
- CV Out – Send Pitch and Gate CV messages to Eurorack and modular synth rigs.
- Pedal Input – Plug in to send MIDI CC messages from an external expression pedal.
